The program uses freeware MIDI components by David Churcher

TuneKeys v.1.0 adjusts softness/hardness of the keys of a MIDI
keyboard, which makes it feel and sound different.

TuneKeys v.1.0 is a Windows 95/98 SHAREWARE.

The unregistered version of TuneKeys v.1.0 has all features of
the registered version, but the key sensitivity tuning in it is
made very coarse (5 shades). The registered version provides a
400 shade fine tuning option. The registration fee is only $9.

For the registration details, contact gretchikha@geocities.com

To install the program, unzip "TuneKeys.exe" from the archive
"Tune100.zip" to the folder of your choice, and make a shortcut
to it in the desktop area. TuneKeys.exe does not modify your
configuration in any way. If you like to remove it from your
system, simply delete file "TuneKeys.exe" and the shortcut to it.

Using TuneKeys is very simple: plug your MIDI keyboard MIDI-In
and MIDI-Out ports to your computer's MIDI-Out and MIDI-In,
respectively (as you do when you use your keyboard with other
MIDI software). Then specify MIDI-In and MIDI-Out ports in the
program. Don't forget to turn the keyboard to "Local MIDI Off".
That's it. You can now play the keyboard, and adjust its keys'
sensitivity with the program's scrollbar.

I strongly recommend using TuneKeys with Hubi's Loopback device,
which is available FOR FREE at

http://members.telecom.at/~hubwin/midi.html

It will allow connecting your keyboard to MIDI sequencers and
other MIDI programs THROUGH TuneKeys, to play your keyboard with
adjusted touch sensitivity. It will also give you an interesting
possibility to use TuneKeys with MIDI PLAYERS when you listen to
MIDI music.
