 1. The purpose of the program: Tritex Accounting is a multiuser package designed to simplify and control everyday accounting tasks.

 2. Installation instructions: This program runs in Windows 3.x, Windows 9x or Windows NT. The tsu50_16.zip file contains the tsu50_16.exe setup program and the readme.txt file, which you are now reading. The readme.txt file provides the user with documentation which may be read previous to running setup. Following setup, you may keep the above zip file as the source to setup the program again, or to set it up in another computer. The first time you run Tritex Accounting, it will specify that the 'master' user name be used until you create other users. Additional account setup instructions are available on the Internet at http://bkcons.simplenet.com, by advancing to the download area, and linking to the Readme page. Once the program is installed, on-line help includes keyword searches.

 3. Status of the program: Tritex Accounting is shareware. This 5.0 version replaces 4.0 and adds Point of Sale, Bar Code, Cash Registers, Repetitive Billing, Menu Find, help file table of contents and many other enhancements. You may evaluate it for 30 days, and keep it should you decide to buy it. Registration may be performed through the Web, via email, or by telephone. Once you obtain the Distibution Date, License Number and Hardware ID through the Validate/Devalidate Master Menu Help menu item, you then link to, email, or telephone the distributor, which is specified in the Help's Purchasing menu item. If your computer has an Internet connection, then the program will automatically place you on the distributor's order form. Else the appropriate contact information will be provided. Once the license(s) are paid for, you will receive an unlock key, which permanently validates each corresponding license, allowing you to maintain multiple companies on the same computer. Each computer requires a separate license. Several companies may be implemented, using the same license per computer. And all licenses may be validated during the same submission. telephone call or email sessions.

 4. Distribution status: The program is freely distributable. Each installation begins a 30-day demonstration period, where accounts and transactions must be re-entered. A model Chart of Accounts is included with setup. Validated licenses allow the data, which was entered during the demonstration period to remain on file. Implementation of multiple companies, simple data management and transfers may be performed by the user, and more complex data transfer tasks are available through MS Access import/export routines, or direcly from BK Consultants. Additions and customization are available, and may be incorporated in future upgrades.
