NOTE : This new revision takes care of a couple of problems. It addresses
the problem that some people are having with some modems not connecting
and it also addresses a problem with the writing of the CBVERIFY.FON
used numbers file! Both problems have been addressed in this updated
       version!

IF you ARE having troubles with your modem connecting with your users
when it calls them back, then follow the installation proceedure below
if you're upgrading from version 1.20. If you're upgrading from V1.11
then refer to the V111-120.TXT first, then follow these instructions.
You'll have to be prepared to play with initialization strings with
your modem. Be sure to RE-READ the CBVERIFY.DOC file, as new items
have been added to help you work through this problem!

Upgrading from Version 1.20 to 1.30 will be an EASY upgrade if you follow these
steps!

i) Unzip the distribution archive into a temporary directory
ii) Copy the NEW CBVERIFY.PPE into your installed directory
iii) Edit the NEW CBVERIFY.CFG file so it matches the format of the new one
in your temporary directory containing the new v1.30 release of this
        callback verifier.
iv) Now, get the manual that came with your modem, and start reading.
You're going to have to find a good initialization string that will
work for you when dialing out to other modems.

This PPE has been tested with USR, Zoltrix and GVC RPI modems, and
works fine WITHOUT having to use the initialization string option. If
you're having problems with your modem connecting, then the solution
will lie in you finding the correct initialization string for YOUR
        particular modem!

If you find a string that works, please e-mail me with the model and
make of your modem, and include the initialization string that worked
for you, and I'll include it in the next revision of this PPE for
others that may run into the same problem!

v) Be sure to set the "USE INITIALIZATION STRING" option in the
CBVERFIY.CFG to "Y"es if you're going to use the initialization string
option. If not, the string won't be utilized!

        That's it, you're DONE!
This should take care of the "BUGS!"
