TRS-80 Model 1/3 Emulator, version 1.10

=======================================================

This is a full-featured TRS-80 Model 1/3 emulator, written
completely in 80x86 assembly language, for use on an MS-DOS
computer with at least 512K, CGA, and MS-DOS 3.0. Some of its
more notable features include the ability to run almost all TRS-
80 programs, to read TRS-80 disks using a PC drive, to play TRS-
80 sound with a SoundBlaster card, and to emulate a hard drive
using LDOS, with a capacity of up to 13 megabytes.

This package is shareware. Free distribution of this shareware
version is encouraged, or distribution for a small handling
fee, provided that the original .ZIP file remains intact.

The .ZIP file should contain the following files:
TRS.EXE: the emulator program
TRS.TXT: the emulator document file
INVOICE.TXT: a registration form
FILE_ID.DIZ: a description of the emulator
HDFORMAT.EXE: a formatter for the virtual hard drive
UTILITY.DSK: a virtual disk containing an LDOS hard disk
driver and a clock utility for all DOS's
WHATSNEW.TXT: a list of changes from the previous version (1.0)
README.TXT: this file

The emulator document file is also available in HTML at its
offical web site: http://www.arrowweb.com/mkr

For full installation instructions, refer to the file TRS.TXT,
also in this .ZIP file. For a quick installation, do the
following: extract the file TRS.EXE, and move it into its own
directory, named whatever you want. Move your ROM image files
(named MODEL1.ROM or LEVEL1.ROM) into that directory, as well
as any virtual disk image files that you will want to use. To
start the emulator, just run TRS.EXE. If you want to use an
emulated hard drive, you need to first run HDFORMAT.EXE to
create the hard drive image. For further details on this, read
the section devoted to hard drives in the TRS.TXT file.

The emulator requires at least one ROM image file before it
will start. For copyright reasons, no ROM images are included
with the emulator. Instructions on how to extract them are
included in the TRS.TXT file.

I hope you enjoy using my emulator.
