Function Summary:

TrayDialer provides a convenient means of autodialing your frequently used
phone numbers via a phone connected to your modem.

Requirements:

-Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows NT
-modem connected via a serial port on your machine

Description:

After launching TrayDialer, right-clicking on its icon in the system tray
area brings up your dialing menu. Any phone numbers you have added to
TrayDialer's database will appear as an option on the menu, positioned
alphabetically. Selecting one of these options will dial the phone through
the serial port you specified in Setup.

The Setup option provides you with a grid-based means of adding, deleting and
editing phone numbers from your menu, as well as an option to specify the
correct serial port.

Using the Software:

To dial a number, right-click TrayDialer's icon and select the appropriate menu
entry. The modem will dial your number and present you with a dialog box that
will allow you to either pick up the phone and talk or click to cancel.

To add entries to the menu, take the Setup menu option and add/modify/delete the
contents of the grid. To add an entry, simply click in the empty row next to
the * and fill in a name and number in the respective cells. To delete an entire
entry, click once on the border just to the left of the entry you wish to delete
and press the Del key. To modify an entry, click on the data you wish to modify
and begin typing.

To specify the COM port your modem is on, click the appropriate option box. If
you are not sure which port your modem is on, try each of the options in turn or
consult your machines Properties by right-clicking on My Computer on the Windows
95 desktop.
