Select the Racing.MDB file from the My Documents folder to run.

This program will track drivers and players for a fantasy racing league. It is used to eliminate the need for a manual system in tracking the same.

Setup Instructions are included in the Database, however, here is an overview:

Step 1: Make any changes to the Drivers in the database. The driver list was created at the beginning of the 1998 season, so some of the drivers are no longer assigned to the correct car number.

Step 2: Review the Points table. The current points table is based on the current Nascar rules for scoring. Any bonus points are added at each race result entry screen. If this database is used for another form of racing, the points table can be set up to accomodate it. Keep in mind, scoring is tracked by car number not by driver. If this is a problem, change the number from the actual car number to a numbering system to track drivers. When scoring, enter the driver number not car number if this is changed.

Step 3: Review The Race schedule. the 1998 Nascar Season has been entered. If this schedule does not accomodate your needs, it can be modified through the menu options.

Step 4: Define rules: Determine how many drivers a player should pick. Assign appropriate classes to each driver, This can be adjusted to your preferences. Determine how many changes a team can make each week or for the entire season.

Step 5: Print Player Pick Sheets and pass them out with a copy of the rules.

Step 6: Enter Player Picks into the System.

Step 7: Enter each race results into the System. Make any driver changes prior to entering race results for proper scoring. When making driver changes, there is a starting race number and ending race number that need to be changed. The Starting race number is the first race that this driver will be used. The Ending race is the last race this driver was used. If the ending race is 99, This driver will be used from the Starting race number to the end of the season.

Step 8: Print Scoring Reports and Distribute them.
