1. OVERVIEW

Are you converting your Vinyl LPs to CDs or MP3 Files?

  You have probably discovered how time-consuming it is,
  trying to record each track as separate WAV files to
  store on a CD or to encode as separate MP3 files.

  LP Ripper makes the task much easier. Using recording
  software (e.g. LP Recorder) just record each side of
  your LP as a single WAV file on your computer.
  LP Ripper automatically splits the file into a
  separate WAV file for each track ready to write to
  a recordable CD. Optionally your MP3 Encoder can be
  called to produce an MP3 file for each track.

How does LP Ripper work?

  LP Ripper calculates the length of each track by
  detecting the gap between tracks and displays a track
  listing showing the time of each track. You can then
  select which track(s) you want to save as separate
  WAV or MP3 files.

  Some LPs have little or no gaps between tracks; others
  have long quiet sections that could be mistaken for a
  gap. LP Ripper lets you change the times that it has
  calculated and can automatically adjust the length of
  the remaining tracks.

  Track names can be edited using the full 255 characters
  of Windows' long file names even if your MP3 Encoder
  does not support them.

Additional Features

  * Listen to a preview of a track before saving or
    encoding it

  * Select MP3 Encoder parameters from preset values

  * Automatic sensitivity adjustment

  * Trim tracks visually using the coarse / fine
    dual-display

  * Split / merge tracks

  * Save progress between editing sessions

  * Insert silence before and after tracks

  * Drag and drop, and command line support

  * Set directory preferences
