Delayed Auditory Feedback v1.0

This program turns your PC into Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF) machine
for stutterers.

Delayed Auditory Feedback(DAF) can help people who stutter. Basically
it takes the sound of voice from a microphone, delay it by some number of milliseconds,
and play the delayed sound out into a pair of headphones. It can reduce stuttering.

Your PC needs to have a microphone jack and headphone jack,
I tested in Windows 95 with Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16 or AWE-32 plug and play card,
it works fine. You have to make sure your sound card (and drivers) is so setup that it can
record and play at the same time. Otherwise, you will get error message saying that
it can not open your output device.

Installation/Uninstall

Just copy DAF.exe into any directory, and run it.
You should have MFC42.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL already in your system,
otherwise you can download from www.shareware.com.

Usage

Just choose the delay time in miliseconds, and choose the buffer size (that determines
how long it can run before you have to click start again), and click Start, if all the
soundcard is properly installed and lastest hardware drivers, you can speak into microphone,
and listen in the headphone now.
