Thank you for downloading the IMS On-Hold Messages Player. The IMS plays telephone on-hold messages using a Window computer. The messages are mixed with music in real time, processed for telephone, and played continually with intelligent message scheduling. You can continue to use your computer for other tasks while the IMS runs in the background.

System Requirements:
Windows 95, NT, 98, 2000 or Me (a Windows 3.1 version is available)
  Minimum 8MB Ram
  Minimum 486DX66
Standard Windows Sound Card or Voice Modem

To install the IMS, run setup.exe. Further documentation (including the full manual) is available by pressing the Help button.

The software comes with free music and generic on-hold messages in either American, German or Australian voices. If you have not downloaded the correct accent, please visit http://www.nch.com.au/ims/ where you can download the messages and, if you wish, change your music.

If you wish to have Custom Messages or Update Messages professionally scripted and recorded please visit http://www.nch.com.au/onhold for Australian Messages or http://www.world-voices.com/ for a list of international on-hold message producers. You can also contact NCH Swift Sound at nch@nch.com.au who can either produce your messages for you, or refer you to a production studio near you with appropriate facilities.
