Welcome to Wave Mixer 2.0
-------------------------

This little utility optimizes wave files fully-automatically,
meaning that no user-modifications are required while processing
a given list of files. You can mix, fade-in, fade-out, normalize,
cut, extract (remove silence from begin/end), copy, merge or directly
edit an unlimited set of files, just by one mouse-click. The processed
files will be kept separate, which is a nice thing for cd-recordings,
because you can easily "jump" to each track on cd later, even if
they've been mixed. All that's needed to do is to tell Wave Mixer what
you'd like to do with each file, then the program will run silently in
the background, allowing you to work with other applications without
being disturbed. Each file can be up to 4 GB in size, without negative
effects on Wave Mixer's or even your system's performance.

To get more information, click "Help" on Waver Mixer's main window
to show the built-in help feature.

Installation / Deinstallation
-----------------------------

Please extract the wavemix.zip file to a directory of your choice,
using WinZip, PkZip or a similiar utility. To increase comfort,
you can add a shortcut on your desktop by dragging the wavemix.exe
file from your Windows Explorer to your desktop, using the right
mouse key. Please see your windows manual for detailed instructions.

Wave Mixer won't touch your registry, nor will there any files
copied into other directories. If you decide not to use this utility
any longer, just delete the Wave Mixer directory, and your system
will be as clean as before!

Program status
--------------

Wave Mixer is Shareware and may be distributed freely, as long as
you're distributing the unregistered version (without your personal
registration key).
