2. Installation
---------------
To install Frozen Networks, simply run the FrozenNetworks_setup.exe program and follow the instructions.

3. Upgrading from a previous version
------------------------------------
If you are upgrading from version 1.1 or 1.2, you can install this new version overtop. You may want to make sure all your custom levels are stored in the folder called CustomLvls, but apart from that, there is no need to uninstall your previous version. Simply run the setup program, selecting the same directory where your previous version was installed, and your copy of Frozen Networks will be safely updated.

4. Registration
---------------
Frozen Networks is Shareware. The full version contains the following benefits:

 1. All 25 game levels will be accessible (instead of just 7).
 2. Access to all the solutions.
 3. The number of moves that can be undone in the game
will be increased from 5 to 100.
 4. Levels written with the level editor can be
    transferred to other computers.
 5. Hints are available immediately.

There are two ways to register and obtain the full version. The first is to write two new levels for the game and send them to us at baartse@conexion.com.gt. There is no further cost and we will send you the information you need receive the benefits listed above.

The second way is to purchase the Reasonable Games Triple-Pack of Logic Games which includes Robot Reconnaissance, Frozen Networks and Midnight at the Museum (all 3 for just $9.95). See the following webpage for details:

7. History
----------

What's new in version 1.4?
--------------------------
* now allows 10 saved files (no longer 1 save per level).
* hilights icon when a new item selected in level editor.
* on quitting, asks if user wants to save the game.
* now has 25 levels
* now is Shareware - can get for free by writing 2 levels, or can
buy as part of triple-pack of logic games. The Demo version allows
access to 7 levels and allows 5 move undos. The full version has
25 levels (with solutions), and 100 undos.
* several minor bug fixes and graphical enhancements

What's new in version 1.3?
--------------------------
* changed installation routine (it's now simpler, has an uninstall
routine and allows for a smaller file size overall).
* removed "Record" command. Keystrokes are now automatically recorded
and if the level is successfully completed, the user has the option
  of saving the solution.
* Replaced the "Playback" command with the "Solution" command
(which plays back previously saved solution files).
* Now keeps track of which levels have been solved.
* Message displayed when user saves level while playing the game
(previously there was only a "beep").
* Restore and Solution commands are now faded on main screen if
no Save or Solution files exist.
* Several visual changes on the user interface. For example, it now
runs in fullscreen mode and there are new message boxes (with larger
  font size for easier reading).
* Password answers can now be seen when editing an existing level in the
level editor(before you needed a special code to unlock this feature).
* Added command to toggle sound effects on/off.
* Bug Fix - carriage returns entered in the hint field are now changed
to blanks (so the saved level file doesn't get corrupted).

What's new in version 1.2?
--------------------------
* changed and improved the graphics slightly
* addition of "More" button on introduction screen
* offer of free game for anyone writing a new level.

What's new in version 1.1?
--------------------------
The presence of the fm20.dll file is no longer required to run the game. This will hopefully make the game compatible with more versions of Windows. This also required that the graphics be changed slightly.
