Description
-----------
Free PDF allows you to create PDF's for Free by printing from Windows
9x/ME/NT applications like Microsoft Word or Internet Explorer.

PDF stands for Portable Document Format. Files in this format are
commonly viewed (and perhaps printed) with Acrobat Reader.

PDF and Acrobat Reader are Copyright 2000 Adobe Systems Incorporated.
All rights reserved.

Installation
------------
To install Free PDF just unzip this .zip file to a temporary work folder
and run the Free PDF installer by executin the file

fpdfzNNN.exe

where NNN is the Free PDF version number (in this case 095 for version
v0.95).

This will create the C:\freepdf folder with all the Free PDF files you
need. The Free PDF installer does NOT write to the Windows Registry, nor
change anything on your computer other than within the C:\freepdf
folder.

Configuration
-------------
At the end of this installation process, the Free PDF installer will
display a local HTML page which has links for the free Acrobat Reader
which you will need to view the configuration PDF. This configuration
PDF takes you through the rest of the configuration procedure, step by
step, with many screenshots.

It is strongly recommended that you bookmark this Local page so that you
can find it again.

This Local HTML page also has the links to the two other programs that
Free PDF requires.

To be functional, Free PDF requires two other freeware progams:
- RedMon (Printer port REDirection Monitor) from
  Ghostgum Software Pty Ltd.,
- GhostScript from Aladdin Enterprises.

Free PDF and these other programs are all disributed under ALADDIN FREE
PUBLIC LICENCE. See the next section and the respective licence
agreements of each program for details.
