Music Organizer v1.1

What's new:

- Added two fields for producers for you music buffs that like
to know that kind of stuff.

- Changed the Album Name field on the Edit/Modify dialog box to
a combo box. This will allow you to select albums names from a
list if you have already typed them in. Saves some time if you
have to type in a lot of "Greatest Hits" albums.

- When sorting by Album Name, if the group starts with a "The",
the program ignores "The" and sorts on the rest of the group
name.

- Changed the media type field on the Edit/Modify dialog box so
that it automatically lists the last media type that you entered.
Just saves some time if you are entering a lot of the same type
of media.

- Bug fix. The program was cutting off the last line if you
printed a page and had the list sorted by songs or if you were
viewing the list by the Group Name/Album Name/Tape number.

Music Organizer v1.2

What's New:

- Added 5 more song title slots for a total of 26 slots.
- Added the Track number field and play time field for each song
title.
- Added a new sort that sorts the Group/Artist name alphabetically
and lists each song title, track#, and the CD# that it is located
on.
- Added new items to the Options command under the View Menu.
-- Grid On - when checked, the options prints the information in
a grid on the screen and on the printer.
-- Printer options that will let you printer 1 record per page,
print a page break after each letter of the alphabet, or print
as many records per page that will fit.
-- Ignore "The" when sorting - Gives you the option of having the
program ignore the word "The" at the beginning of group/artist,
     album name, and song title.
- Improved the speed of the sorting routines.

Music Organizer v1.3

What's New:

- Added a CD player that is capable of the playing the whole CD,
an individual song, or any combination of songs (and in any order).

- Added 2 custom fields that you can name and sort by.

- Added other new fields like Quality, Label, catalog number, and
a notes section.

- New sorts for the Label and catalog number.

- 2 new songs sorts that lists different information than the other
song sort. One uses 6 lines and the other uses 1 line (Have to use
a small printer font but saves a lot of paper).

- Added an option for the program to automatically load the playing
times for the songs without you having to type them in.

- Added 10 slots for performers and the for instruments/vocals so
that you can keep track of your favorite performers. Also added a
Sort by Performer so that you can find all of the albums that they
have played on.

- Added a Go To command so that you can quickly get to the album
that you are looking for.

- Made all of the new fields optional. You can turn them on or off
from the Options menu (ex. you can turn off the Producer fields if
you don't use them).

- New printing option that prints each group/artist on a different
page (in the Options menu).

- Enabled selective printing. You can select which albums you want
to print and the program will just print those.

Music Organizer v 1.31

A Bug Fix!!!!
- Fixed a bug in the selective printing.

Music Organizer v 1.32

Another Bug Fix!!!! (Darn things!!!)
- Fixed a bug that would not allowed data files written with version
1.2 to load properly.

Music Organizer v 1.4

- Fixed bug in the Find Command

- Fixed bug in loading original Music Organizer data files.

- Added page numbers. Optional - can be turned on/off from the Options
Menu

- Added several new one line sorts so that when you print your data,
it won't take up at much room. Use the View Menu, then View By,
then Single Line Sorts. Now when you use the Sort Icons on the Tool
Bar and the Sort Commands under the View Menu, all of the sorts will just
display on 1 line.

- Fixed a bug in the Undo command. Occurred if you had modified a record
and then tried to Undo the change.

- Added two icons to the tool bar to make it easier to go back and forth
between the Normal View and the Single Line Sort View.

Music Organizer v1.5

- Added adjustable columns on the single line sorts.

Music Organizer v1.6

- Added a "Quality" sort. The field had already been there in earlier
versions, you just couldn't sort by it.
- Added a new command call "Filters". This command allows you select
what kind of albums are displayed. With the "Filters" command, you can
select Group/Artist name, music type, media type, quality, label, and
performer. After you select the different criteria, only the albums that
match those criteria will be displayed. It makes searching and printing
selected items much easier and faster. The command is located on the
tool bar and in the View menu.
- Added customizable sorts. Any of the single line sorts can now be
customized. Just right-click on the heading and you will be given an
option of adding or removing headings. Up to 6 headings can be used
for each sort. The headings that you can select from are Artist/Group
name, album name, catalog number, the custom 1 field, the custom 2 field,
label, media type, music type, number, and quality.
- Added. The program now remembers where you put the adjustable columns.
So each time you run the program, the columns will be where you left
them. If you adjust the columns, the program will prompt you to save
your changes when you exit the program.
- Removed one of the song sorts. Since the program now allows you to
adjust, add, and remove fields, the third song sort was a duplicate of the
first song sort.
- Changed the Go To command so that it searches as you type in letters.
As an example, if you type in 's', the program will scroll down to the
first word that starts with an 's'. As you type in other letters, the
program will continue to scroll to what you have typed in.

Music Organizer V1.7

- Added an Export command. The program can now export to a "doc" file
or to a "csv" (comma separated volume). You can, of course, open the
"doc" file with a word processor. You could then do any editing, printing,
copying that you would like. You could send your list to a friend or
relative. The "csv" file can be loaded by many database and spreadsheet
programs. One good example would be Microsoft Excel.

- Added a new option to the General Options list. The new option is a check
box that gives you the option of having the program automatically load your
data file when you start the program. It will actually load the last data
file that you were using.

- Added. When you exit the program, Music Organizer records the window
position and size. The next time you start Music Organizer, it will put
the window back to the same place that you had it and start it off at the
correct size. Just another little time saver.

- Bug Fix. The database file could not be opened by using Windows Explorer
or the Document command from the Start Button. It caused an error and
caused the program to be shut down. The database could be opened through
the program, just not through Windows Explorer or the Document command.
That has now been corrected.
