The purpose of EZMedia
======================
EZMedia is an easy-to-use multimedia player for Windows 95 PC's running Microsoft DirctX Media, part of Microsoft DirectX and Windows 98 PC's. EZMedia plays AVI, WAV, MIDI, MPEG audio like MP2 and MP3 files and MPEG video like MPG and MPEG files. EZMedia also plays CD audio and non proprietary Apple QuickTime movie files. In fact, if your machine has an MCI (media control interface) compliant driver for specialized media types, EZMedia will play those file types, too! Note: EZMedia will not play a file if your hardware doesn't support it. For example, if your MPEG decoder software or hardware doesn't support MPEG layer 3 (.MP3 files) then EZMedia will, naturally, not be able to play MP3 files.
NOTE: EZMedia requires that Windows 95 users have the most recent version of Microsoft DirectX Media installed. As DirectX Media is already incorporated into the Windows 98 operating system, there should be no need to reinstall DirectX Media for Windows 98 users.

Installation of EZMedia
=======================
Installing EZMedia is, well, easy! After unzipping the file, run the SETUP.EXE program which will walk you through installing the program. If your are not a registered, licensed user of EZMedia, just enter anything in the Serial Number edit box of the installation program. If you are a licensed user, the Serial Number editbox of the installation program is where you would type your registration number that was provided to you by Dan Aunspach Technology Services (Thank you for purchasing a license for EZMedia!)
