EMPS j-Pub "Editor" Beta (and Freeware) opens Edocuments created with the EMPS j-Pub "Publisher". An Edocument can contain any number of HTML, JPG & GIF files, in any sequence. The Addendum Toolbar contains two mark-up tools: Notations & Quick Notes. The Notations tool places a clickable icon (selectable from 12) on the page which contains a hidden text window. Quick Notes places on on-page text window.

When using the "Editor", you can read the originator's commentary and add your own commentary, then Email the Edocument back to the originator. Once saved, all commentary becomes permanent. Upon return, the originator can copy commentary out into other applications.

The Navigation Toolbar contains several ways to proceed through an Edocument. Links remain active and, if to another imported document, will display that document.

This zip file contains the Windows executable for installation on Windows 95/98/NT platorms. There are downloadable installations for: Macintosh, UNIX and Other (Pure Java) platorms. They are located at: www.arma-services.com. Edocuments can be read and edited by any installed "Publisher" or "Editor", regardless of platform.

This Beta version is fully functional. A pop-up window indicating this will display whenever a new Edocument will be created or an existing Edocument opened.
