KidClock Version 1.0

KidClock is a time-of-day teaching tool intended to help young kids learning how to tell time. Kids choose the time by setting digital hour and minute time settings for any time desired, then the analog clock hands automatically adjust to show the corresponding time setting.

Visual effects include rising sun and moon together with changing sky colors seen through a room window for daylight and nighttime hours. Audio effects include a morning rooster and an evening hooting owl.

KidClock has a test mode to test the child's grasp of telling time. When the "test" button is clicked, a random analog time appears on the clock, but the equivalent digital hour and minute time is not visible. The child must translate the analog time himself and enter the hour and minute time manually. KidClock then tests to see if the time entered by the kid agrees with the visible analog clock.

KidClock is an adjustable teaching time-of-day clock. It does NOT keep time or function as a running clock.

When the rooster crows or the owl hoots, be patient. During this time, KidClock will momentarily delay showing manual time changes until the rooster or owl has finished.
