INTRODUCTION
Welcome, and thankyou for your interest in Pimento. Pimento is a powerful personal information manager (PIM) featuring Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Planner, Anniversaries, Expenses and much much more. Please spend a short while viewing the help file so you can fully utilize the advanced features contained in this organizer. Please visit our website from time-to-time, it will always contain the latest information, downloads, hints and tips, and updated files.


INSTALLATION
If you are viewing this document, you may have already installed Pimento. If you have not yet installed the software, simply run setup.exe and follow the instructions on-screen. After installation is complete, there will be a new program group in your Windows Start Menu, called "Pimento" by default. There may optionally be a shortcut icon on your desktop as well. To launch Pimento, double click the desktop icon or select "Pimento" from the Windows Start Menu program group.


LOGIN PASSWORD
When you run Pimento, the first thing you will see is a login dialog box asking for a Userid and Password. Please enter the following:

Password = Trial

Please note that Userid and Password are case sensitive. This means they must be entered EXACTLY as shown above. Entering "trial" or "TRIAL" will not work.

SHAREWARE
If you have already registered Pimento, we thankyou. If not, the following limitations apply:

1. The trial version does not contain any user management facilities. This means you will be unable to add, delete or modify user accounts. It also means you will be unable to change the default userid and password as detailed above.

2. When logging on with a userid and password of "Trial", there cannot be any other users connected to the same Pimento database at that time. If others are already logged on (perhaps with the "Trial" account also) then they must logoff before you can logon.

3. The "OutlookImport" plugin is not included. This means you will be unable to import your Calendar, Tasks, Contacts or Notes from Microsoft Outlook.

4. Every hour the Pimento "About" screen will appear, simply click to close it again and continue.
