-Shell Session writes the current run's communication detail to notepad. This data is in the file runpgrmp.dtl which gets renamed to runpgrmp.run when the program terminates.

-Shell Previous Session writes the previous run's communication detail to notepad. This data is from runpgrmp.dtl which is renamed runpgrmp.run when the application terminates. The configuration information at the time of the run is appended to the detail.

Entry Fields
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Modem Ititialization String, U.S. Robotics Modems change the &K0 to &H0. If you have a problem with the initialization string you can find the right one in the ".inf" file that came with your modem. The string must contain "E0V1", echo off, verbose responses.

-Modem Settings, bps, parity, bits, stop bits, (default = 9600,n,8,1). Button either clears or sets the default value.

-Outside Line, enter the outside line dialing digit and/or the disable call waiting code.

-Number Of Retries, designates retry count on error or busy. Button either clears or sets the default value.

-Busy Signal Cutoff Detect, the number of seconds to detect a true busy signal rather than the one returned at the end of the pager service connection. Button either clears or sets the default value.

-Digital Page Dialing Timeout, the maximum time allowed to deliver the pager message. If this value is less than 15 seconds the pager message may be truncated. Button either clears or sets the default value.

-Blind Dialing Comma String, a string of from 3 to 10 commas used in the dialing string to allow a delay of 2 seconds per comma when blind dialing is employed.

Check Boxes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-Set Blind Dialing Mode, used to change the way the application dials numbers. Some modems do not handle the Hayes silence command "@" properly. The "@" character is used in a dial string to cause the modem to wait for five seconds of silence after the called party answers before sending the remaining dial string. This is perfect for dialing a numerical pager.

	1) If your modem does not handle the "@" character it will send the dial string as one long number. For instance, the dial string ATDT788-3073@555-101-1234 will dial the entire string 78830735551011234.

	2) It should dial 788-3073, wait for answer, wait for 5 seconds of silence, then send the remaing digits 555-101-1234.

	3) A very poor work around is to employ blind dialing. Blind dialing dials the number 788-3073,,,555-101-1234 as follows: It dials 788-3073, waits for six seconds (2 seconds per ","), then sends 555-101-1234, the remainder of the dial string. Blind dialing cannot tell if the pager service answered. It cannot tell if an error or busy signal occured. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO NOT EMPLOY BLIND DIALING.
