Overview
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This form shows the relationship between the source signals (s1, s2, s3) and the zone trip signals (t1, t2, t3, t4) for a serial port.

Wiring Information
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Note: The user can obtain the interface cable and connector when ordering the system or make up the cable using the proprietary pinout wiring information.

-Essentially the hookup is the formation of simple two wire loops, either open or closed. A switch action either closes an open loop, or opens a closed loop, or a combination of the two.
-On any one zone all of the switches must be wired for either open action or closed action.
-You may place an unlimited number of switches on each zone.

-Make certain that the sensing serial ports have seperate IRQ's from each other and from the modem port.

-Take care when handling the serial ports pins, particularly in the Winter months, to discharge any static electricity built up on your body. You can do this by touching the metal case of your computer or any avilable ground. Although RS-232 is very robust and you should not have problems in most cases, static electricity may be several thousand volts in Winter when the humidity is low and can damage integrated circuits.
