Overview
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use this form to assign both internal (Software) and external (Hardware) event zones and the action outcomes of a trip event. You can assign one of four action outcomes for an event trip. You can also assign a window activation/deactivation trip event (-See Miniature Buttons).

	1) Play the System Audio Alarm.
	2) Play an audio message or shell execute an application.
	3) Send a numerical pager message.
	4) Make a voice call using the speaker-phone or as a wake up call.
	5) Raise or lower the port's source signal s3 voltage level +-12V

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Cut, Copy, Paste, and Clear All are common edit actions.

-Setup Non-Hardware Port Zones permits setup of those ports with no serial port hardware.

Shell Menu
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Shell Session writes the current run's communication detail to notepad. This data is in the file runpgrmp.dtl which gets renamed to runpgrmp.run when the program terminates.

-Shell Previous Session writes the previous run's communication detail to notepad. This data is from runpgrmp.dtl which is renamed runpgrmp.run when the application terminates. The configuration information at the time of the run is appended to the detail.

-Clear Current Session Detail clears the communications detail file runpgrmp.dtl.

-Com1, Com2, Com3 ... Com8 select each serial port for assigment of event zones and their attributes. Those Comm ports which have serial port hardware and no modem device may be used as external event zone inputs. These ports may not share an irq with another device. Those other ports which have no serial port hardware may be used for internal\software trips. Actually both
type ports can receive software trips.

-Zone1, Zone2, Zone3, and Zone4. There are four event zones for each serial port selected. Each event zone has the following attributes:

	descriptive nomenclature field,
identification field to send to the pager,
simulation key assignment and external enable/disable,
	set the system audio alarm
audio play or shell execute assignment,
send an alert to the pager or telephone,
raise or lower a voltage level,
	window activation/deactivation trip option,
	four action enablements,
	two modes of audio play.

-Each zone may have an unlimited number of switch closures attached via the serial port interface.

	(-See Sample Configuration, sample.cfg)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Entry Fields
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Description Field describes the protected area and may be sent to the attendant modem on an event trip if enabled.

-Identification Field identifies the port and zone to the pager on an event trip if enabled. You may of course change the default numbers. HHMM will display the time of the trip, hours, and minutes.

-Play audio or shell execute file path allows the playing of audio .wav or .mid files or the shell execute of .exe, .com, .bat, or .pif files.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Simulation Panel
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Ctrl assigns the CTRL Key to the Function Key selection.

-Shift assigns the SHIFT Key to the Function Key selection.

-Function Key assigns a simulation key to create an event trip for testing without the use of an external switch action. Also assign a port/zone as an external enable or disable for the system. A port/zone set for system enable or disable cannot function as a regular trip.

Trip Event Action Outcome of an internal(Software) or external (Hardware) event trip

-System Audio Alarm enables the sounding of the system audio alarm on an event trip on this port/zone combination. This alarm plays continuously until reset by the system reset timer timeout, a trip event play audio overide, or a suspension of play from a remote telephone keypad or another application LinkExecute command.

-Play Audio or Shell Execute enables either the playing of the entered audio file path or the shell execution of an executable file path.

-Send Pager Message enables the sending of the identification field to numeric pagers using the phone numbers selected from the Pager Number List (From 1 to 8 Numbers).

-Make Phone Voice Call enables the placing of a voice call to a group of phone numbers selected from the Phone Numbers List (From 1 to 8 Numbers).

-Raise~Lower A Voltage Level enables the raising of the port's source signal to a positive 12 volts or lowering it to minus 12 volts.

Play Audio Action Outcome of an internal(Software) or external (Hardware) event trip

-Play Once if selected causes the audio play file to play one time when the trip occurs.

-Play Continuously causes a repeat playing of the audio play file until reset by the system reset timer timeout, another trip event play audio overide, or a suspension of play from a remote telephone keypad or another application LinkExecute command.
