                                 LIST of FILES

                                 TCONVERT.EXE
                                  README.TXT

The program is DOS based but will work via Windows, and is almost
    entirely mouse controlled .

It should convert most WP or DTP files into a standard Ascii file. It
can also attempt to prevent lines exceeding 80 characters, ignore all
ASCII codes above 126, and those below 32 like 9=TAB 10=LF 12=FF and
13=CR, and reject all spaces and left margins not required. When you
select the option CONVERT as shown below, you will be able to chose
what form of conversion is required. After conversion the new file is
given the same name as the original, with the .EXT of .TXT. Beware this
overwrites any previous TXT file of the same name. If you attempt to
convert an existing TXT file, the original will be renamed with the
.EXT of ASC. You cannot therefor convert a .TXT file if an .ASC of the
    same name also exists!

    [CONVERT-][DISPLAY-][PRINTOUT][-TAGALL-][NEW LIST][-RELIST-][-DRIVE--]

It does not cope with some WP diles such as DOC or RTF files created by
WORD, so these should be saved by the original WP as an ASCII or TXT
file. The option DISPLAY and PRINTOUT should display or Print all the
data in a file, including some Graphic codes. It cannot handle more
than 260 files. If you access a Directory of more than 260. you will be
asked to limit the listing, by entering a search pattern, such as
*.TXT. You select the files for the first 3 of the above options, by
LEFT clicks, or click on TAGALL to select all files. You can change
to any directories likewise, or select DRIVE to restart.

The files can be untagged by using RELIST, and if you wish to select
only certain files, select NEW LIST, and then enter say *.DOC

                   Comments and suggestions always welcome.
