                             DP (Data Protect)

Description: Saves information about selected files in a file named
FRECOVER.DAT. The NU, QU, or UD utility can later use that
information to recover lost data more quickly and accurately.

Syntax: Version 4.5: DP [(drive:)]

                                 Parameter:

(drive:) The single-letter specifier (A:, B:, C:, etc.) for the drive
you want to process. Follow the letter with a colon. The
               current drive is the default.

                                   Notes:

Include a DP command in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to provide maximum protection
for your system hard disk.

You cannot recover lost data on a floppy disk that has been reformatted using
the DOS Format command. Use the Norton SF (Safe Format) utility instead.
