MATRIX is a general purpose matrix based-calculator for performing
many scientific & engineering calculations relating to matrices.
The program is self explanatory, however should you still need help,
instructions are available by typing <h> anytime.

MATRIX supports many powerful operations like determinants, inverting etc.
It was primarily developed to enable me to solve equations and perform
complicated matrix calculations for my engineering studies, when a similar
tool was not available. Engineers and Scientists will find it very useful.
MATRIX is based on routines developed for EVAL and was written using
the Borland Turbo C 2.0 compiler. The EPA libraries, used in writing
this program are avaliable at a nominal charge for developing/enhancing
your own C programs. Information can be obtained by sending e-mail to
<amitabh@cyberjunkie.com> with "EPA-info" as the subject.

MATRIX is freeware and the only restriction for distribution is that the
MATRIX.EXE and README.TXT files should not be modified in any way.

MATRIX is written by Amitabh Saxena.

Any doubts, suggestions, criticism & bugs can be sent to the author at
<amitabh@cyberjunkie.com>. Please use "matrix" as the subject.
Your comments will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for trying out my programs.

About the Author :

My name is Amitabh Saxena and I am a marine engineer. I am currently working
in the Shipping sector as a 4th Engineer (as of 1999) and intend to work only
long enough to arrange funds to support myself at Carnegie Mellon Univ., i.e.
if I get an admit. It has been my dream since very early years and I intend
to realise it someday. As you might have guessed, I'm an Indian living in
Bombay. If anybody at Carnegie happens to glance at this, can he/she oblige me
by dropping a few lines at <amitabh@cyberjunkie.com>
